About Ride With Pride Horsemanship School
We would like to introduce you to the Ride With Pride, Inc. Horsemanship School in Southlake. We specialize in teaching students ages 3 and older how to care for and ride a horse safely. Ride With Pride, Inc. has been in operation since 1980. Our Instructors are certified with the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).
-Instructor Grady Bruton (CHA & PATH Certified) grew up at the barn with his mom, Doreen Bruton (owner of Ride With Pride). He became an instructor in 2011 and graduated from Tarelton State University with a Bachelors degree in animal science. Grady continues to enjoy passing his knowledge of horsemanship to the younger generation.
-Instructor Kelli Hurst (CHA Certified) became an instructor at Ride With Pride in 1996. She is a lifelong lover of horses and has 55 years of horsemanship experience. Kelli has an Arabian named Foxy and a Belgian cross named Kurtis who she uses for endurance riding.
-Instructor Brittany Bruton (CHA Certified) is the newest instructor at Ride With Pride and also serves as our administrative assistant. Brittany has owned horses her whole life and enjoys competing in ranch horse on her horse Miss Penny when she isn't at the barn.
-Instructor Doreen Bruton (CHA and PATH Certified) has owned and operated Ride With Pride for over 40 years. Enriching children's lives with the love of horses has been a passion since the age of 16.
-Instructor Gaby Chapman (CHA Certified) began riding at Ride With Pride when she was 6 years old and became employed in 2014. She enjoys teaching lessons on the weekends and competing in ranch horse events on her horse, Sibley.
All of our instructors bring safe, fun and educational lessons to our arena.

Our group lessons are one hour. During this lesson your child will learn how to brush, saddle and ride a horse. They will also learn safety and barn chores.
